We are continuing our search for a Packaging Manager to join our team during an exciting time of expansion. It is not often that such a position at our brewery arises and we are still looking for that someone special. Could it be you?

You would need to be a highly organised person with an excellent eye for detail and a can-do attitude to report to our Chief Operating Officer on a full-time basis. If you are passionate about working in the beer industry, plus you are results-driven, then you are what we need! Our minimum requirements are that you must have at least five years’ experience leading a team in a fast-moving packaging environment and a proven track record of problem-solving. 

Duties will include leading our packaging team while helping manage the transition of our current packaging line to a state-of-the-art bottling, canning and kegging line. You will also be responsible for implementing and improving our quality processes to ensure that the quality of our beer is maintained at a high standard. Alongside this, you will monitor and deliver critical KPI’s such as GLY, LEF, losses, utilities usage and productivity in support of the overall strategic goals of our brewery. The safety and wellbeing of not only the packaging team, but other employees, contractors and visitors in the packaging area is also an important part of your role. And on a creative and more challenging level, you will be involved in taking the lead on technical and organisational aspects of packaging-related projects.

The working week will be Monday – Friday for approximately 45 hours / week. The starting date for the position is as soon as possible. Due to the location of the brewery in rural Suffolk, having your own transport is essential. A highly competitive salary is negotiable based on experience, and generous benefits are included.
