Frequently Asked Questions

Delivery

When will my order arrive?

All orders are sent on a next day delivery service at time of dispatch not at time of purchase. All goods should be delivered within a period of 7-14 days however we are currently dispatching orders 4 days a week. Please be aware that our couriers do not currently deliver on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays.

What if my order doesn't arrive?

If you have had shipping confirmation but haven't received your order, please give the office a call on 01986 782322 or send an email to beers@stpetersbrewery.co.uk and we will be happy to help.

What if part of my order is missing?

In the unlikely event that not all of your order arrives together, please allow a further 2-3 days for the rest of your order to arrive. Occasionally, parcels can get split up in transit and it is likely that the remainder of your order will arrive within the next few working days. If your order still doesn't arrive, please give the office a call on 01986 782322 or send an email to beers@stpetersbrewery.co.uk.

Can I add delivery instructions?

To add delivery instructions to your order such as 'leave in porch' or 'leave with neighbour' please do so at time of checkout. Once you have selected a shipping method, a gift message/delivery instructions box should appear. Please add your delivery instructions in here and we will pop this in the case at no extra cost.

Home brew kits

I have a home brew question, who should I contact?

All our home brew kits are produced by Muntons Malt and they would be best placed to answer any technical queries. Please email us on beers@stpetersbrewery.co.uk and we can let you know who to contact.

Is one yeast sachet per kit correct?

Yes, our 11g sachets provide a sufficient amount of yeast in the wort. Two sachets would provide excessive amounts and run the risk of yeasty/off flavours

Can I brew half quantities using one can, and save the other can for a later date?

Technically, yes as both cans contain the same extract in… Except for Golden Ale, where the two cans are of different types of extract to create the desired flavour profile. Only using one can will give a completely different beer to the other.

When do I add the hops, doesn’t say on the box instructions?

Add the hops just before the yeast, and then leave to ferment as per the instructions.
