English Pale malts coupled with Challenger and Goldings hops provide the bitterness and aroma. The result is a highly distinctive light, golden ale similar in character to a full-bodied Czech lager.

a "life-saver" whilst on holiday in Guernsey. Mature malt and challenger hop bitterness makes for an unusually smooth bitter taste from a bottle on filtered english beer.

Just bought a bottle of Golden Ale as soon as it appeared in one of the stores in my city and I took the run for my money!!!
One may find curious to know that it costs almost 10 times more expensive than my native common beer.
Now looking forward to try winter & organic ale as it's all we have in the store for now.

Just popped a pretty old batch of the Golden Ale (best before 06 Jun 06) that made its way to Australia a few years back as part of a new beer importing business. It has actually aged brilliantly - what crispness it has lost in old age has been surpassed by a depth of flavour and rich mouth feel - and it still has a zesty edge. I actually prefer this aged character to the fresh expression. Mad I know but thats what you get from ex-convicts...

Just discovered it about a month ago. Best beer I've ever had. Hoping to make the trip to the brewery someday.
Thank you!

Just found out about St. Peter's Golden Ale here in America... you Brits kick American ass when it comes to ales. Cheers!
